MacLennan worked as part of the design team to provide a specification for the waterproofing systems required for this multi million pound basement build and podium deck.

The design complied in all respects with BS8102. MacLennan used Newton Membranes and sumps and pumps to form a complete Cavity drain system internally. Externally and on the decks MacLennan used the Polyprufe spray applied elastomeric Polyurea system.

The membrane system is the most reliable form of waterproofing and is guaranteed by Maclennan for 20 years and covered by PI and consequential damages insurance by Maclennan. The Polyrufe system is guaranteed for 25 years.

All of the work was carried out within the agreed time scales.
